Who We Are


Founded in 2007 by three dedicated occupational therapists, Hands On Therapy was created with a mission to provide exceptional therapy services within school systems. Over the years, we’ve expanded our offerings to include physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), speech-language therapy (SLP), and school psychology testing. We are proud to serve numerous counties and school districts across Kentucky, and our reach continues to grow as we expand to meet the needs of more students and communities.

With a combined total of over 70 years of experience in the field, founders Alison, Lea, and Tiffany have built a strong foundation of expertise, passion, and commitment to supporting students in their educational journey. Hands On Therapy remains focused on delivering high-quality, school-based therapy and psychological services to help students overcome challenges, thrive academically, and grow personally.

  • Lea Morgan

    Lea Morgan, graduated EKU in 1997, and has practiced OT in a variety of settings. Early in her career Lea worked with patients with spinal cord injuries, but she has been working primarily in the school setting since 2003. She is married to Scott Morgan and they have four children.

  • Alison Buchanan

    Alison Buchanan, graduated EKU in 2001, serving in a variety of settings and has been in school systems since 2004. She is married to Bucky Buchanan and they have 3 children. Alison is a breast cancer survivor and has been cancer free since 2009.

  • Tiffany Bourget

    Tiffany Bourget, graduated EKU in 2003, doing occupational therapy in head injury rehab. Now, she has been an OT for Kentucky schools since 2007. She is married to Levi Bourget, our business manager, and has four children.
